Echocardiogram

An Echocardiogram is a test used to assess how the heart is functioning. It uses sound waves to produce an image of your heart. An Echocardiogram test allows us to see the heart beating and pumping blood. 

An Echocardiogram may be performed if you are presenting signs or symptom of:

  • Heart Failure

  • Heart Murmur

  • Cardiomyopathy 

  • Congenital Heart Disease

  • Aneurysm 

Doctors also commonly request a Echocardiogram if your heart is not performing correctly.
